Richard A. “Trip” Miller III is the Founder and Managing Partner of Gullane Capital LLC, which manages more than twenty investment partnerships and private family LLC holdings. He oversees investment research, portfolio management, business development, and firm administration.
Before founding Gullane Capital LLC in 2002, Mr. Miller worked as an Associate in the Investment Banking and Equity Research Groups at Wunderlich Securities and as a Research and Portfolio Management Assistant at Trusco Capital Management.
Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Managerial Finance from the University of Mississippi and an MBA with a concentration in finance and security analysis from the University of Florida.
He serves on several private company boards and has been interviewed by major media outlets like Bloomberg, CNBC, Fox News, the LA Times, NYT, and WSJ.

Court Coursey is the Managing Partner of TomorrowVentures, LLC, a hybrid investment firm based in Palo Alto, California, which invests in early-stage venture, private equity, and credit opportunities.
Over 14+ years, TomorrowVentures has made more than 100 venture capital investments, including 24 unicorn investments at the seed stage. Through TomorrowVentures, Mr. Coursey has over 2500 indirect investments and an expanded network.
He has been involved with over 200 startups and has lectured on entrepreneurship and venture capital at UCLA, UVA, Stanford University, NYU, and the Milken Institute.
Mr. Coursey is also on the Board of Directors for Forbes Travel Guide, StoneCanyon.AI, Anax Power, and Fintiv.
John Pettey
Former CFO of Pablo River Partners, LLC
John Pettey served as the CFO of Pablo River Partners, LLC from 2021 to 2024, managing the portfolio management arm for a family office. From 2016 to 2020, he was Executive Vice President of Dobbs Equity Partners, where he managed a significant alternative assets portfolio and established an automotive dealership group through acquisitions.
Mr. Pettey has also held positions in wealth advisory and at The Blackstone Group, Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, and Polygon Investments.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, graduating Phi Beta Kappa from Amherst College, and studied at Worcester College, Oxford. Mr. Pettey holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Justin Curzi
Founder and Operator of Early and Mid-Stage Companies
Justin Curzi has over twenty-five years of experience in founding and operating early and mid-stage companies.
He co-founded and bootstrapped Emochila, a software encryption and file-sharing protocol used by over 7,500 accounting firms (acquired by Thomson Reuters). He was also an early COO and stakeholder at Submittable, which raised a $47M Series C, and most recently, Mr. Curzi was the President of PWCC Marketplace, the largest trading card auction house with $600M in annual sales (acquired by Fanatics).
As an investor, Mr. Curzi has direct and indirect investments in over 300 companies and is a General Partner in Access Fund, a venture portfolio index targeting early-stage Y Combinator companies.
He graduated from Amherst College.
